We have a lacrosse game tomorrow. I am excited yet nervous. It is against a team who we beat for the first time last year, so this is the year to hopefully repeat that. Luckily we have a bunch of returning Varsity players so we should do well, and on top of that it's a home game which bodes well for us since our field is so ****ty and has a ton of holes and like no grass, it's a field of hard dir...

Today was another CSAP day, which is pretty much Colorado's State-issued standardized test. Luckily since I'm an upperclassmen I didn't have to take it and the way my school handles this, is by having the upperclassmen come in for like two hours and then go back home, and then the underclassmen come and take their tests. Sadly, I still have to come back for lacrosse practice.

Today I turned in my Distinguished Scholar portfolio and from the looks of it, I did more work than anyone else on it. I mean really when people walk in with things that look (and I know personally) that they did last night, and I know the effort and can see what I did, it's pretty obvious I worked longer than anyone else on it. Today was our playday, and it was so nice and hot outside. I've always preferred playing in the heat than in the cold. Well I went out on d-wing, which as I have stated many a times, is my dream position. I felt incredible, I did incredible. We played games all day and I was consistently good, so Coach D kept putting me in and I was told by the girls on the sidelines that she was impressed by me....

The obvious and good news, is that I made Varsity for lacrosse. Tomorrow we have our "play day" which consists of scrimmaging the teams that are in our same league, it is not an official game day so we're not wearing our uniforms (to avoid having them remember our numbers, etc. Instead we're wearing pennies). It's so nice to have places where you can look back and see who you were, so that you can also find out in a better way, who you've become. I mean, pictures, poems, old writings, FTI's old posts, and the friendships I've made and lost along the way all seem to be showing me footprints that can create an outline of who I am today.
