-how did you stop?
-what made you stop?
-what keeps you from doing it now?

it's been a long time sice i've heard about a recovered bulimic, and i was hoping that maybe (if there are any out there) that you guys could just answer those 3 questions
thanx

although i have had longer periods goin without b/p i now consider myself recovered. i no longer feel the need to stuff myself sensless until i cant physiclly eat anymore. ive gone to uni and share a kitchen and bathroom with 10 others. i have come to realise by watching the others that i do not eat excessive amounts and am not in fact really greedy. as i share a bathroom there is no opportunity to purge which in turn makes me less likely to binge. im having so much fun with all my new mates there is no time to think about food where i used to obsess about it every spare minute before. i think what every bulimic needs is a huge lifestyle change to break the pattern of the b/p and their personal triggers. Once that pattern is stopped new healthier routines can be integrated.
